Concert Band

Decided today I would have a break and take August off from rehearsals.

May make a guest appearance as a hornist from time to time, but no more conducting rehearsals for me in August.

Will still conduct for the gigs tho.

Jazz Quartet

Got together for a rehearsal as we have a wedding gig coming up.
Tried out their requests...they went well.

Then some oldies and some newies....plenty of fun

And all that Jazz (Jazz Octet)

Fab gig in the Playhouse...band were really tight.....punters seemed to enjoy it.

Brass Quintet

Met at G's after a long lay off...but we were good!!

Good fun with the boys and gal!!

Symphonic Wind Ensemble

Good turn out for our first get together.

We had 2 flutes,oboe,5 clarinets,2 bass clts 4 hns and double bass.

The Mozart sounded like Mozart!!

The Dvorak Ok ish and we struggled a bit with the Wagner....but we will meet again after the summer hols!!
