Just made 100 views of  my original concert band composition, based on Blaydon Races.

We are now OK for our get together on Tuesday.
We have 5 pieces of music and have sent out all the parts to the members.
Start with the Mendelssohn Overture Op 24.

We now have 3 flutes, 1 oboe,6 clarinets, 1 bass clt, and 2 hns, plus 2 tpts,1 tbn,1 euph and 1 tuba.

Looking forward to it.

26/11/11 clashes with Ever Ready band/Choral Society Xmas concert.

So decided to cancel our gig, and postpone until the spring.

Will still go ahead with the September rehearsal, depending on response.

Sunday Night

Well we start the band again tomorrow, so spent a good hour or two sorting out what music to look at.
Trying to find some stuff we haven't looked at for a while.

Possible new alto sax player has been in touch....see what happens..
